In response to the COVID-19 situation, Mintra Group worked with training providers to provide support during this unprecedented time by making a number of eLearning available for free through Trainingportal. This initiative has been recognised by the Scottish Parliament, with Mark McDonald, MSP, raising a motion to congratulate Mintra Group.
Free eLearning to Support Businesses and Individuals During COVID-19 Outbreak
That the Parliament commends Aberdeen-based Mintra Group for introducing free eLearning courses to help companies and their employees stay safe during these uncertain times; applauds the availability of these informative resources free of charge; recognises that there is a lot of pressure on companies to keep employees safe while working from home; notes that these courses will help people who are new to working at home to create the same, healthy working environment that they would expect to have in the office; understands that the newly developed COVID-19 and infection control courses will help workers keep themselves and their families up to date on how they can best protect themselves against the virus, and thanks Mintra for its efforts to best educate people to stop the spread of the virus.

‘Mintra Group are honoured to have our COVID-19 offering commended in Scottish parliament by MSP Mark McDonald. We appreciate that these are challenging times for people and businesses and we wanted to help by giving access to online health courses through our Trainingportal. These courses have proven very popular with over 7,000 people enrolling on them to date. Working closely with our customers, training partners and industry standards bodies, we will be releasing further initiatives to make online resources available in addition to our free courses. We encourage the sharing of these resources with friends, colleagues and families to raise awareness around COVID-19 and working remotely.’
